Unverferth Unveils Seed Pro® Seed Tender for Bulk Seed Boxes

The Seed Pro seed tender features easy-opening 5”x6” doors for regulating seed flow into the conveyor. Dual unloading chutes feed the conveyor from a central point for unloading speed and efficiency. Each compartment features self-sealing rubber funnels for channeling seed from the boxes with easy-to-attach lids for keeping the unit clean during storage.
The conveyor is powered by an 11 h.p. Honda gas engine with electric start and features 60 inches of hydraulically operated vertical-height adjustment for easy positioning. Engine controls are conveniently placed by the conveyor along with a corded remote for convenient operation. Conveyor size options are a 6-inch tube with an 8-inch cupped and cleated belt or an 8-inch tube with a 12-inch cupped and cleated belt. The 6-inch tube gently moves seed at speeds up to 12 bushels per minute; the 8-inch tube up to 25 bushels per minute. The 18-foot steel conveyor tube features a standard 4’-6’ telescoping downspout for a total reach of 30 feet. There’s also an optional 10-foot telescopic downspout for 40 feet of reach.
Heavy-duty, hinged steel latches keep the bulk-seed boxes securely fitted to the Seed Pro seed tender, even over rough terrain. The undercarriage features all-steel construction, rubber-cushioned suspension and tandem axles with electric brakes for optimum transport to and from the planter or drill. L.E.D. running, hazard and brake lights and reflective striping are standard for added transport safety.
Options include a spare tire for transport convenience, an unloading light at the top of the conveyor for easier nighttime unloading, a canvas hopper cover for keeping seed free of debris and a scale package for verifying the quantity of seed delivered. There’s also an optional wireless on/off remote for controlling engine and conveyor operations.
