Blu-Jet Introduces Innovative Split-Apply Option for 15-Series Liquid Fertilizer Applicators

Blu-Jet, a leading name in fertilizer application equipment, is proud to introduce the all-new Split-Apply option for its popular 15-Series liquid fertilizer applicators. This innovative solution gives growers the ability to inject fertilizer both at the center of the row and directly next to the base of the plant—simultaneously—providing a more efficient and targeted nutrient application.

Designed with flexibility and productivity in mind, the Split-Apply system features:

· A single coulter with knife or nozzle injection paired with two trailing hoses for application on each side of the row.

· A user-friendly selector valve that enables application through both the coulter and hoses simultaneously—or independently, depending on soil conditions and crop needs.

· Compatibility with Blu-Jet 15-Series models set on 30” row spacing.

With Split-Apply, growers have more control over their fertilizer program, placing nutrients exactly where they’re needed to maximize uptake and boost yield potential. This feature, combined with our enhanced lead coulter design, takes precision and performance to the next level.

The 15-Series lineup—available in models 4615, 4015, and 3015—offers tank capacities of 1,775, 1,400, and 1,025 gallons, respectively. Toolbar widths range from 62.5 ft to 27.5 ft, giving producers options that fit operations of all sizes. The new lead coulter design includes a horizontal spring with up to 1,500 pounds of down pressure, ensuring consistent ground penetration even in tough conditions.

Whether you're looking to enhance nutrient placement, improve crop health, or get a faster return on your investment, the Blu-Jet 15-Series applicators are engineered to deliver results.
