See What’s New from Unverferth at This Year’s Farm Progress Show

Many of this summer’s tradeshows seemed to be held on hot days for their duration no matter the location.  The annual Farm Progress Show held in Boone, Iowa, this year was no exception.  While near-record heat kept some away on the first day, the second and third days of the show helped make up for that with steadier crowds.

Since this is the largest outdoor farm show we pulled out all of the stops to provide customers with many reasons to stop by our exhibit for the latest products to meet their farming needs.  And, ultimately spur sales.  The highlight of the show was the Raptor strip-tillage tool that sported new TerrainPro2 row units with added durability and even more tool-free adjustability along with larger dry fertilizer tubes that can apply higher fertility rates.  We also debuted the Raptor 3-pt. implement with a pull-type caddy and dry fertilizer tank for farmers with maybe a little less acreage to cover than full-blown 12 or 16 row units.

For the various grain cart brands, we also had new models and features to create excitement.  The Unverferth 2520 double-auger grain cart made its debut with 2,500 bushel capacity. In addition to the new economical Parker 1150 double-auger grain cart and larger model 2054 with 2,000 bushel capacity, the largest yet in the Parker lineup, we debuted a new metallic gray color offering that was well received.

In the Brent lineup, the metallic black offering was added to the remainder of the cart and wagon offerings for those who like the way it matches any of their farm equipment brands.

The newly designed RoadRunner HD header transport also premiered.  This heavy-duty model takes the RoadRunner lineup to the next level in fast and convenient hauling of grain heads and platforms.  The new Blu-Jet anhydrous ammonia applicator models also made their first public appearance.  The newly designed beefier A-frame tongue on the larger models, lead coulters with greater downforce and a standard ISOBUS rate controller all mean greater productivity for farmers and custom applicators.

When it’s Farm Progress Showtime, you can be assured that everyone at the company puts their best into manufacturing and assembly all the way to setup and teardown to make the show provide a return for future sales.  Thanks for your efforts in making the show as successful as possible!
