2025 NFMS Recap: Unverferth Leads the Way in Ag Innovation
Louisville, Kentucky was THE place to be for everything farming during the National Farm Machinery Show from February 12-15. In total, there were over 800 exhibitors spanning 1.2 million square feet of exhibit area. From soil testing ATVs to crop spraying drones and everything in between, farmers were treated to the latest in technology and iron innovations. Unverferth Mfg. showcased the latest for delivering commercial fertilizers and seed, to strip-tillage and collecting harvest data with the UHarvest Pro grain cart weighing system that now interfaces with the JD Ops Center software.
Other featured new products included the Parker 3620R Seed Chariot tender with longer 21’ conveyor for gently filling the tallest planters and drills. The Blu-Jet Liquid applicator, featured a new coulter design and application options for greater versatility. For strip-tillage, the Raptor machine with updated TerrainPro tillage units impressed visitors looking to make the switch to reduced tillage.
The 8-ton dry fertilizer carrier for the three-point Raptor strip-tillage tools also piqued the interest of mid-sized growers.
As usual, the wheel display got a lot of attention from farmers looking to complete their tractor restorations or convert their tractors to high-clearance wheels. This year, the new 12- and 18-bolt Wedg-Lok dual wheel hubs made their debut to receptive farmers for use on higher-horsepower tractors. The wheel tree helped farmers visualize what they needed for their particular use.
Interest from farmers in the main corn and soybean growing states was good. So too was the attendance by Ontario farmers who were there in larger numbers than the last few years with an interest in buying U.S.-made farm equipment. When times are lean it is especially important to continue developing and highlighting the newest product innovations to provide farmers a reason to consider upgrading for greater productivity. The quality of our products continues impressing farmers which is important to stay ahead of competitors in a softer market.
Thank you for your part in making our products stand out in quality and durability at shows and throughout the year to continue building upon our successes.
